Three teens will be tried together on Monday for murder after a home invasion turned deadly last October.

Jose Quiroz, 17, already pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 45 years in prison and 10 years probation. Blake Layman, 17, Levi Sparks, 18, and Anthony Sharp, 19, will go to trial on Monday.

The teens were among a group of five that attempted to break into a Frances St. home. Danzele Johnson, 21, was shot and killed by the homeowner.

Now, the rest of the teens are being held responsible for his death under Indiana law because it says their criminal actions led to Johnson’s death.
