Indiana State Excise Police arrested 33 people on 50 charges during Butler University's midsummer break this weekend.

The vast majority of arrests stemmed from illegal possession or consumption of alcoholic beverages. Additional charges on those arrested for underage drinking included: resisting arrest, public nudity, possession of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia, public intoxication, false informing and littering.

Adam Raifsnider, 19, of Elkhart, was taken to the Marion County Jail on charges of illegal possession of alcohol and resisting arrest after he ran from police. He was also issued a ticket for littering.

Kristina Parro, 20, of Bollingbrook, Ill., was arrested for illegal consumption and false informing after excise officers found her passed out alone next to a bush. She tested .18% BAC. After being checked by EMS personnel, she was taken to the Marion County Jail.

Jackson Reighard, 19, Riverview, Ill., was arrested for illegal consumption of alcohol and public nudity after he was caught twice for underage alcohol possession in less than two hours. He was also cited for littering and possession of false ID. Reighard was taken to the Marion County Jail.

Midsummer break is the weekend between first and second summer session classes, which end on June 21 and begin on June 24, respectively.

Those arrested will appear in Marion Superior Court on future dates.
