An Elkhart man has been sentenced in connection with a shooting last year that sent two people to the hospital.
That's according to our reporting partners at the Elkhart Truth.
20-year-old John Taylor IV, will spend 75 years in prison and five years on probation after he was found guilty of three counts of attempted murder in a jury trial last month.
The shooting happened last October at the intersection of Pennsylvania and Waurika on Elkhart's west side.
According to testimony, Taylor fired multiple shots from an assault rifle into a car, hitting two of the three people inside.
The victims suffered only minor arm injuries.
Taylor says he plans to appeal the conviction.
