Elkhart County women charged with two burglaries in LaGrange County

Indiana State Police have arrested an Elkhart County woman after a three week investigation into multiple burglaries at Amish residences in western LaGrange County.

Marylou Ann Richards, 34, of Elkhart County was arrested for allegedly target members of the Amish Community while they attended Church on Sundays. Items such as cash, checks and credit cards were primarily taken from the homes.

The Elkhart County Prosecutor's Office charged Richards with two counts of burglary, both Class B Felonies.

Richards is being held in the Elkhart County Jail.
