The Fourth of July is a time to celebrate, but authorities across Elkhart County are making sure you don't take your celebrating too far.
Officers with the Elkhart County Sheriff's Department are targeting drunk drivers this weekend.
Tonight, they're hosting a formal DUI checkpoint in Goshen from 10 p.m. until 1 a.m.
Afterward, until 3 a.m., officers will patrol the town searching for impaired and behind the wheel.
Drivers with a blood alcohol level of 0.08 or greater will be arrested and prosecuted.
