One of the three men, up for the South Bend Police Chief, has been offered the chief's job in Bismarck, North Dakota. That's according to the Bismarck Tribune.
Christopher Elg has been the Police Chief in West Monroe, Louisiana since 2004. Elg has 17 years of experience as a Police Chief or Head of Public Safety. Elg has until Thursday to decide if he will take the job in Bismarck.
