Derek Dieter reelected as South Bend Council President
Life is good for South Bend Council Member-at-Large Derek Dieter. During Monday night's Common Council Meeting, Dieter was unanimously re-elected as Council President for 2013, by a vote of 6-0.
This marks the fifth consecutive year Dieter will serve as President, setting a new city record.
Sixth District Councilman, Oliver Davis Junior, was also unanimously re-elected to Council Vice President, a seat he has maintained since 2009.
