A Roseland townhome complex had a fire tear through its walls, and Thursday a demolition crew tore those walls down.
The demo process, which took five hours to complete at the Dublin Village Townhomes, sent blocks of bricks onto Clancey Street literally shaking the earth.
Two other units were damaged in the June 11 fire that injured a Notre Dame student. Those townhomes however, will not need to be demolished.
Dublin Village leaders say rebuilding costs are around half-a-million dollars. Construction is expected to be complete by the middle of the football season.
