Democratic Congressional hopeful Brendan Mullen was campaigning in South Bend Wednesday talking about his hopes for Indiana’s future.
Dozens gathered for his speech, including some special guests. Veterans stood in support behind the candidate. Members from every branch were present.
A veteran himself, Mullen’s says he is honored to have their support. He says veterans feel he'll have a Hoosier voice in Washington.
“Right now we are thirsty for folks to have a chance to move our communities and our families forward,” says Indiana 2nd District Candidate Brendan Mullen. “The only way to do so is with bipartisanship and moving our communities and families forward without trying to squeeze the air out of each other.”
Mullen is running for Congress in Indiana’s 2nd Congressional District. He faces Republican Jackie Walorski this November.
