Governor Mitch Daniels will make a stop in Bloomington just weeks before he heads to West Lafayette.
The governor will address students at Indiana University before he takes over as Purdue University's president.
The December 15 Winter Commencement ceremony will be held in Assembly Hall.
Some 1,400 students are eligible to receive bachelor’s degrees during the ceremony.
700 are eligible for master’s or doctoral degrees.
Purdue's board of trustees picked Daniels in June as the school's next president.
He will start that position in January, after his second four-year term as governor ends.
