It took nearly three years for an arrest to be made in the murders of John and Carolyn Tarwacki of Niles.
It will apparently take a little longer to hear what kind of evidence there is against the man recently charged with the crimes, 28-year-old Keith Lintz.
Lintz was originally scheduled to face a preliminary examination in court Thursday. That's now been pushed back until November 14 to allow the defense more time to review police reports.
Carolyn and John Tarwacki were murdered in their Niles area home in February of 2010.
