Community members and speakers will meet in Elkhart Friday night, for a city-wide forum on violence prevention.
The event was organized in response to the shooting of 7-year-old Kristyana Jackson. She died from injuries sustained during an August 17 home invasion.
Speakers Friday night include Mayor Dick Moore, and experts on violence prevention and safety. It's being held at 7 o'clock at the North Side Middle School Gymnasium.
