The fate of a St. Joseph Co. man charged with two counts of murder will now be decided by a judge.
Steven Clippinger, 41, is charged with the shooting deaths of his brother and sister-in-law Matthew and Lisa Clippinger at their home on East Eleventh Street in June.
Thursday, in court, the trial was moved to April 1.
It was originally scheduled to begin January 4.
Clippinger also waived his right to a jury trial, and instead acknowledged that his case will be heard only by a judge.
Clippinger will be back in court March 18 for a record date hearing.
