The first round of layoffs at Cequent Performance Products in Goshen is slated for Friday.
But that's not all, Newscenter 16 has learned that a Union membership meeting will also take place then. Workers will be able to vote on the company's proposed closure package.
If the package is accepted, the union would drop it's arbitration complaint. But if the package is rejected, arbitration would go on as scheduled in April.
Details of the offer are not being released at this time.
Last year, Cequent announced it was closing it's Goshen plant and moving the production to Mexico. The Goshen plant employs 450 people.
