A former Benton Harbor school board member is calling for a current member to resign because of something she posted on Facebook.

The Herald Palladium reports that Jeffrey Booker urged the board to ask Lisa Gulley to resign at a board meeting Tuesday night. He read a statement from Gulley's Facebook page in which she allegedly said the school was run by the students and there was a lack of teaching material. Gulley was absent from that meeting.

Booker resigned from the school board in October at the request of his employer, Lake Michigan College.
