Car and Bicycle collide in Warsaw

A man was seriously injured Monday after a car crashed into his bicycle in Warsaw.

Police say that Brandon Evans, 30, of Vincennes was riding his bike north on Bronson shortly after 6 p.m., when he crossed over center street and was hit by a car.

The driver of that vehicle was Rick Hatcher, 55, of Warsaw.

According to a witness at the scene, the light for center street traffic was in the process of changing when the collision occurred.

Due to the severity of his injuries, evans was flown to a hospital in Fort Wayne.

The investigation is ongoing.
