Burning leaves catch shed, home on fire

Sunday’s windy weather caused a bit of fire damage to local properties.
It happened around 1 p.m. in the 10,000 block of McKinley in Osceola.
Police say a man was burning leaves when flames got out of control. It carried into a shed on his property and onto a neighbor's home.
It is legal to burn leaves, but officials advise residents to use common sense.
Damage is estimated at $15,000.
