Owners of property vandalized over the weekend say they will not press charges after the people responsible came forward about the crime.

On Friday morning, community members found the political and profane remarks spray-painted in the Beech Rd. area in Bremen.

The paint was on buildings at two Amish schools, on traffic signs as well as the front of the Rentown Country Store.

Rentown’s owners told NewsCenter16 that the people responsible came and apologized, giving him money to clean up the mess.

The treasurer for one of the schools says they have also received money and an apology and will not pursue charges.
