Some scary moments inside the Elkhart County Courts building Thursday, as police were called to investigate after a bomb threat that was made.
That's according to our reporting partners at the Elkhart Truth.
The call reporting the threat came in around 9:15 Thursday morning. City and county police responded to the scene and evacuated the building.
More than 50 courthouse employees and visitors waited outside in the rain as officers searched the entire building. No bomb was ever found, and everyone was allowed back inside about 2 hours later when police deemed it safe.
