Berrien County, Mich. The end of the road may soon be near for the Berrien County Road Commission. Public hearings on the future of the commission have been scheduled for October 10 and 24.
One option calls for a Berrien County government take-over. Another would let voters decide by referendum, whether the commission should continue or be dissolved.
Last December, the supervisor of the Road Commission was fired for creating a hostile work environment. In May of this year, the acting supervisor was fired as well.
