A woman brutally murdered three years ago will be remembered with a special concert this weekend.
Carolyn Tarwacki and her husband, John, were found dead in their home near Niles on February 5, 2010.
Saturday's concert is presented by the Southwestern Michigan College Brass Band, of which Carolyn was a founding member.
The concert will be at the Dale A. Lyons building on the Dowagiac campus at 7:30 pm.
Tickets are $12 per person.
Proceeds go to a scholarship fund in the Tarwacki's name that are awarded to students’ active in music each year.
A trial date has been set for Keith Lintz, the Niles man accused of killing the Tarwackis.
According to reporting partners at the Herald Palladium, He'll be tried for two counts of first degree murder and two counts of use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.
The trial will start on May 7 in Cass County Circuit Court.
