Beloved DJ being remebered Saturday

Roseland, Ind. It's been one year since the death of a beloved Michiana DJ. And now those who knew him, are remembering him, with music.

31-year-old "Reverend Ryno" of "103.9 the Bear" died suddenly last October. Saturday, a benefit concert featuring 19 bands will be held in his honor at Cheer's Pub in Roseland.

“Rev Ryno died last year he was with the Bear, and he was for all local bands, and the local bands all loved him and they asked us after we did the fundraiser last year to help pay his bills,” says Sandie Slav with Cheer’s Pub. “If we would do it every year and take it to the heart association and that's what we're doing.”

The music starts at 10 a.m. Saturday morning, and will continue until 3 a.m. on Sunday morning.
