Since 2009, a family-owned business out of Fort Wayne has been donating loaves of bread to those who can't afford to put food on the table.
Wednesday, Aunt Millie's Bakery gave 2,400 loaves of bread to the Food Bank of Northern Indiana.
That is enough bread for close to 26,000 sandwiches.
“It's a struggle for everyone right now, companies and people alike, and this area has always supported us and the company is family based and they think it's really important and it makes us feel good to be able to give back to the community,” said Aunt Millie's Branch Manager Tom Rockhill.
The bread will be distributed to 185 agencies in six northern Indiana counties.
