Penn High School in Mishawaka will be the site of an "active shooter" training this weekend.

The drill will involve several police and emergency agencies on Saturday. They will have to close down Bittersweet Road from McKinley to Jefferson for about five hours, starting at 8 a.m.

The Penn-Harris-Madison School District had 32 percent of its students miss a day of school on April 15th after authorities disclosed they had found an anonymous threat against unspecified schools in Elkhart and St. Joseph counties. 60 to 70 percent of Elkhart Community Schools students didn't attend class that day.

The threat proved to be unfounded.
