The new academic year is not the only thing ushered in at Notre Dame on Tuesday. The university’s web group launched a new website at midnight.

The new website includes a Google search appliance and a video carousel.

The feedback has been pouring in all day, and not just from students on campus.

“At three a.m. we got an email from Uganda, someone there saying that they have nd.edu at their homepage they went and loaded the site saw it and it was great,” said Matt Klawitter, with the Notre Dame web group.

The Notre Dame web group says this is the first major design change for their site in a decade.
