6th annual Scott Severns Memorial Golf Outing to be held Saturday

Family and friends of fallen South Bend police officer Scott Severns will gather Saturday for the 6th annual Scott Severns Memorial Golf Outing.

The outing is being held at 1 p.m. at Blackthorn Golf Course.

There will be food and drinks as well as raffles and door prizes.

Severns golfed at Blackthorn the day he died.

The event will raise money for the South Bend/Mishawaka K-9 training facility.

Past event's supported the police memorial and fallen heroes section at Southlawn Cemetery.
