The mother of a toddler found wandering on a busy Indianapolis highway wants to keep her children.

Nancy Dyer faces four felony child-neglect charges.

Dyer was arrested after her three-year-old son was found running on Interstate 465 last month in Indianapolis.

He was wearing only a diaper and a t-shirt, but thankfully the toddler was not hurt.

Since Dyer wants to keep her two children, the boy and his two-year-old sister will be placed in a foster home.

If Dyer had decided to give up custody of the children, they would have been placed with a relative.

Furthermore, Dyer is also pregnant with a third child.
