Michigan fourth-graders can hit the slopes for free this winter, thanks to a statewide skiing program.

The "Cold is Cool" program lets fourth-graders ski free of charge up to three times this winter, if accompanied by a paying adult.

The program will also give out free passes to the slopes for people of all ages starting after Christmas.
