Four people are in custody on felony cocaine charges after a Tuesday evening arrest in Warsaw by Kosciusko County officers.
Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department Deputies arrested four individuals Tuesday evening in the city of Warsaw after a month-long drug investigation.
Undercover officers from the Kosciusko County Drug Task Force conducted a controlled purchase of cocaine near the area of U.S. 30 and Detroit Street and subsequently initiated a traffic stop at approximately 9:50 p.m.
Kosciusko Sheriff’s Deputies along with Indiana State Troopers arrested and preliminarily charged the follow four individuals with felony dealing cocaine:
Jesus V. Chavera IV, 26, Warsaw
Kira Ann Courson, 21, Warsaw
Melvin Santana-Slone, 30, Warsaw
Micah Benjamin Goss, 22, Warsaw
All four individuals are being held without bond this morning in the Kosciusko County Jail on a prosecutorial hold from the Kosciusko County Prosecutor’s Office. Kosciusko County D.T.F. officers stated that approximately 2 ounces of cocaine and an undisclosed amount of cash were seized during the arrest that culminated a month long investigation.
The Kosciusko County Prosecutor’s Office advises that the defendant’s charge is merely an accusation and that the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
