3 robbed at gunpoint in South Bend

SOUTH BEND, Ind. Three people were robbed at gunpoint Friday night in South Bend.

The first incident happened in the 1800 block of South Michigan Street shortly after 6 p.m.

The 20-year-old victim told police an unknown person stole his money and shoes.

Then, two people were robbed in the 1300 block West Elwood Avenue.

A 16-year-old boy was reportedly robbed at 7:45 p.m. The suspect escaped with a cell phone, hat, and headphones.

According to police reports, an 18-year-old man had his bicycle stolen minutes later after a black male pointed a gun at him on that same block.

Police are still investigating.
