Icy roads led to a massive pile-up in Muskegon, Michigan on Tuesday.
At least 20 vehicles were involved in a crash on U.S. 31.
One person was killed in the crash and several others were seriously injured. One person was pinned in a vehicle, which was stuck under a semi truck.
The road was closed for hours as authorities attempted to untangle the wreckage.
Temperatures in the area were below zero degrees.
