Two men who had been hospitalized after the private jet they were passengers on crashed into three homes near the South Bend Regional Airport have been released from the hospital.

Memorial Hospital spokeswoman Maggie Scroope said Monday she had no further details other than Jim Rodgers and Christopher Evans were no longer patients at the South Bend facility. Christopher Evans had been listed in fair condition since the day after the March 17 plane crash and Jim Rodgers was upgraded from serious to fair on Wednesday.

The crash killed former University of Oklahoma quarterback Steve Davis and Tulsa, Okla., businessman Wes Caves.

National Transportation Safety Board spokesman Keith Holloway says a preliminary report on the plane crash has not yet been released.
