Two have been arrested following a meth bust in Kosciusko County.
Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department deputies arrested two individuals on Tuesday, after discovering a meth lab while attempting to serve a warrant.
Officers responded to the 9000 block of West, Old Road 30 in Etna Green. around 3:45 p.m. in an attempt to serve an active warrant. One of the residents of the housedirected them to what appeared to be an active one-pot method methamphetamine lab.
Kosciusko County Drug Task Force officers also arrived and located two additional individuals inside the residence who were identified as Kayla Anne Waltz, 25, of Etna Green, and Eric Michael Graham, 28, of Warsaw, along with a four year old child.
While investigating, officers also located precursors commonly used in the production of methamphetamine that had been discarded in an outside burn barrel. Waltz and Graham were both arrested and preliminarily charged with felony possession of a chemical reagent &/or precursors with intent to manufacture methamphetamine.
Waltz was also arrested on the outstanding active Kosciusko County warrant of criminal conversion. She is currently being held in the Kosciusko County Jail with a $12,000 bond. Graham is also currently in the Kosciusko County Jail with a $2,000 bond. The four year old child was placed into the custody of the Department of Child Services.
The Kosciusko County Prosecutor’s Office advises that the defendant’s charge is merely an accusation and that the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
