Two teens could face murder charges in the shooting death of Danzele Johnson, 21.
Police say Johnson was involved in the home invasion, along with Blake Layman and Jose Quiroz, both 16, as well as a fourth person, who remains at large.
The homeowner interrupted the burglary in progress, and apparently opened fire.
But it's the teens who face murder charges, because they were part of the felony crime in which Johnson died.
The prosecutor's office is expected to file those charges soon.
Johnson was a star athlete at Northwood in his high school days. He graduated in 2009 and was the Panthers running back in 2008, when they won a regional championship.
Johnson and the panthers won 11 games that season, which was the last for legendary coach Rich Dodson
