If you don't feel up to cooking for Thanksgiving, there are restaurants out there willing to do it for you.

Javier's Bistro, 2007 Miami St. South Bend:
Will be open on Thanksgiving Day beginning at 7 a.m. for their standard breakfast menu but then from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. they will have a special turkey meal featured. There will also be a dinner option from 5-8 p.m. for $16.95 per person. Javier's will be cooking all of their turkeys on the Big Green Egg, a ceramic grill. Reservations are preferred. You can call (574) 222-2917. Javier's daily menu features American food with a touch of Puerto Rican flare.
Tippecanoe Place, 620 W. Washington St. South Bend:
Tippecanoe Place, the former home of the Studebakers, is a landmark restaurant in South Bend that is known for its buffets, especially around the holidays. The buffet for Thanksgiving will be from 11 a.m.-7 p.m. and it costs $24.99 per adult or $16.99 per child ages 5-12. Kids 4 and under eat free. The mansion is also dressed up for the holidays with festive decor on every floor. You can also check out the Gingerbread House in the ballroom, coming in at 800 lbs. Indulgence Pastry Shop & Café, 3622 Edison Rd. South Bend
