Police have booked a 15-year-old Milford boy at a Pierceton juvenile facility for ramming two squad cars with a skid-loaded.

Around 8 p.m. Saturday, deputies with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Dept. and troopers with the Indiana State Police were called to CR 250 West and CR 900 North for an erratic juvenile.

Officers spoke with the boy's parents who said their son fell into a rage earlier in the day and locked his mom outside the family home.

He later ran out of the house, armed with a baseball bat and machete, and jumped onto a skid-loader which he drove into an adjacent field.

The boy's father gave deputies an ATV to reach his son. However, as a KCSD deputy and ISP trooper neared the skid-loaded, the teen rammed the ATV with the front pallet fork, totaling the all terrain vehicle.

Continuing to resist arrest, the juvenile steered the skid-loaded toward multiple marked police vehicles parked along CR 300 W, hitting the front of a Milford and KCSD cop cruiser.

Almost an hour after officers first arrived at the rural home, police managed to pepper spay the teen and force him to surrender.

He was taken to the Pierceton Woods Juvenile Detention Center on two preliminary juvenile charges of Aggravated Battery With Substantial Risk of Death or Injury to the Kosciusko County Probation Department.

On Monday the juvenile attended his initial hearing. He will remain in custody at Pierceton Woods until his next juvenile dispositional hearing on Dec. 27 at 9:30 a.m.
