Concert-goers at St. Patrick's County Park did not let the rain get the best of them, though it did cause the show to be put on hold for a short while.
Rock station 103.9 The Bear held its annual summer concert The Big Growl" at the park Sunday.
About 3,500 people attended the show to see bands like Saving Able, Pop Evil, and Thousand Foot Krutch.
Sunday afternoon's storm system did throw a wrench in concert plans.
Just after 3 p.m., a mandatory evacuation was ordered, forcing fans to pack up their belongings and retreat to their cars.
“The park staff has done this before, I'm told, so they're familiar with what they need to do and get done and we talked about it this morning before we ever opened to make everyone knew what to do next,” said Denise Zigler, ticket organizer.
As soon as the storms passed, the show picked up right where it left off, delayed no more than thirty minutes.
