One dead after motorcycle plows into semi

Lake County, Ind. A man is dead after he drove his motorcycle into the back of a semi, pulling a tanker.

It happened Wednesday night, just before 8 p.m. on the Toll Road eastbound to I-65 southbound ramp in nearby Lake County.

Nicholas Stucker, 28, of Hobart was not wearing a helmet.

The driver of the semi, David White, 59, of Eaton, Ohio wasn't injured.

The truck was loaded with 18,000 pounds of liquid corrosives, but it all stayed intact. The right lane had to be shut down for about three hours after the crash.
