A local Green Bay Packers fan is vying for a permanent spot in the coveted Packers Hall of Fame.
George Oudhuis, known as “Green Bay George,” has a very memorable Rolling Prairie basement filled with mementos and other tributes to the Wisconsin football team.
Oudhuis started collecting team memorabilia back in the 1960s, and after decades of gathering different collectibles here and there, now he barely has room for it all.
His fandom goes beyond what he has on display and stored in his home, Oudhuis also wears a Packers shirt or jersey each and every day except for funerals and weddings. He says on those special occasions he wears the paraphernalia underneath his clothes.
Oudhuis is up against nine other extreme Packers fans, voting for the competition ends Feb. 22. To cast your vote, just click on the Big Red Bar.
