Michael Jackson's doctor will face the singer's distraught family and ardent fans one more time when he returns to court for sentencing in the death of the superstar.
The hearing Tuesday will be the first time Dr. Conrad Murray has been back to court since he was jailed after being convicted of involuntary manslaughter on Nov. 7.
It's unclear if any Jackson family members will speak during sentencing.
Prosecutors are seeking the maximum four-year prison term and
restitution by Murray.
The physician's attorneys argue that probation is more appropriate because Murray is already facing a life of shame and diminished opportunities.
Murray had been giving Jackson propofol as a sleep aid in the singer's bedroom, which experts testified was an egregious violation of the standard of care.
