Thousands of people were in southwest Michigan for a series of festivals, one dedicated to the many sweet, juicy summer fruits grown in Berrien County.
The Glad Peach Festival is celebrating its 40th consecutive year in Coloma.
The festival featured areas for the kids and for everyone else, including a parade this afternoon.
It is one of many annual summer festivals in the area that keep people coming back year after year.
‘’The Glad Peach Festival in Coloma is a staple of the festivals in southwest Michigan. We're always thrilled to participate in it; I've been coming here since I was a kid. I grew up in the St. Joseph area, just south of here, and I had friends in the area who would always participate in the parade,” said Michigan representative John Proos.
The festival finishes on Sunday.
