James Taylor battles Fenway’s acoustics

If you missed James Taylor singing the national anthem before the World Series game last night, don't worry.

He wasn't listening either.

Taylor has performed all over the world but he says the acoustics at Fenway Park in Boston present unique problems.

Taylor says he has to focus on what he's singing and not on what he's hearing because the sound comes back to him after five seconds.

He'd still rather be the one singing at Fenway than the one pitching at Fenway.

He says he can't think of a more stressful situation than pitching besides "parachuting behind enemy lines at night."

Carrie Underwood will sing the national anthem before Game 3 in Denver tomorrow.
