"It was great, man. It feels great. It's very special to be back in Indiana; I obviously had four great years at Notre Dame, and they prepared me for this. They prepared me for all of the things that I've seen in life; as a man and as a football player, and it's just special, regardless of where we are playing, but special definitely to be back in Indiana."
He also said:
"All the credit goes to God. All the credit goes to him for giving us the strength to endure what we endured this year. All the credit goes to my teammates.Eleven guys playing as one."
