Rick Santorum has won the Missouri Republican primary.
The nonbinding election carries bragging rights, but does not award any delegates in the race for the GOP presidential nomination. That's because Missouri will select its delegates next month at caucuses.
Early returns show Santorum is also leading the Minnesota caucuses.
Republican voters also expressed their preferences in Colorado, where caucuses were also held.
Santorum, a former Pennsylvania senator, campaigned aggressively in all three states, seeking a breakthrough to revitalize his campaign. It had struggled since his first-place finish in the Iowa caucuses a month ago.
Seventy delegates are at stake in Minnesota and Colorado.
