Wayne County authorities say two Detroit men drowned after their fishing boat sank in Belleville Lake.
Van Buren Township police tell the Detroit Free Press the men were ages 43 and 63. Authorities withheld their names because relatives hadn't yet been notified.
Police say the two men went out in a 12-foot boat Tuesday morning and the boat began taking on water. Police tell WWJ-AM a third man in the boat was rescued.
Belleville Lake is about 25 miles west-southwest of Detroit.
