On Sunday's "Meet the Press," host Tom Brokaw spoke with newly-appointed co-chair of the Obama transition team, Valerie Jarrett.
She says while the president-elect is still working on the selection of his Cabinet members, she expects the range of that team will be very bi-partisan.
"He really believes in having people around the table who have differences of opinion,” said Jarrett. “He thinks he'll make better decisions if he is pushed hard by people with perspectives that are wide and broad."
Jarrett also says so far there have been no decisions made on the puppy, but it will be an Obama family decision.
