4-time Super Bowl winner Bradshaw rips Jimmy Clausen

Known to always speak his mind, 4-time Super Bowl winning quarterback and Fox Sports broadcaster Terry Bradshaw held nothing back Thursday when asked about former Notre Dame quarterback Jimmy Clausen.

Bradshaw was in Middlebury, promoting an RV company called Evergreen.

When asked by NewsCenter 16's Alana Greenfogel about his thoughts on Clausen, Bradshaw held nothing back.

"I didn't like him in college and I don't like him now," Bradshaw said without hesitation. "I hear great things about him, but he's not my kind of guy."

So what is it about Clausen that the former Pittsburgh Steeler great doesn't like?

"I don't like his motion," Bradshaw explained. "I think he's too slow. He played for such a big institution, I just thought he was way too slow with his delivery, way too much shoulder action. Physically, in the way he threw a football, I just didn't like him.

Many were surprised to see Clausen drop out of the 1st round and fall all the way to the 48th pick to the Carolina Panthers. Judging by his comments, Bradshaw probably doesn't view Jimmy as 1st round worthy.

"Doesn't look to me to be a difference-making," The pro and college football hall of famer said. "Just another guy as far as I'm concerned."

Always the jokester, Bradshaw closed out his thoughts on Clausen rather tongue-in-cheek.

"I know I'm in Notre Dame territory, right? We're pretty close, right? Can we start over? Hahaha," Bradshaw said with a big laugh.
