New Year's resolutions for the Fighting Irish

It has been a spectacular and surreal season for the Irish. The team has just one more day left on campus before heading off to Miami to compete for their 12th official national championship title, but 21st title overall.

With all the focus on next week’s game against Alabama the Irish may be too busy to think about the new year and the resolutions that go along with it.

“I make a resolution all the time,” said Prince Shembo, but as for a New Year’s resolution Shembo said, “I didn’t really make one yet, try to read the whole Bible make that one my resolution.”

“I haven’t thought about it yet. I just think about Alabama” Dan Fox said with a laugh.

Outside linebacker Danny Spond said he too hadn't given a resolution much thought saying, “I still got a couple days. We’ll see what I come up with.”

Brian Kelly asked, “When is New Years?” The Irish coach may be a little preoccupied planning for the upcoming national title game, “I haven’t really thought about it to be quite honest with you. You know, coach a good game. You know, don’t screw it up.”
