Showgirls owner appeals location decision

Angola residents will get a say in whether or not a sexually explicit club will be allowed to open in the old Slider's Restaurant building.
The city initially denied the "Showgirls" application, saying it is too close to residential areas in the community. The city says a sexually oriented business cannot operate within 750 feet of a residence.
The owner is appealing that decision.
A public hearing will be held Tuesday at 10a.m. at Angola City Hall.
