Send Local bars celebrate Notre Dame's rise to number-one

Last night Irish fans across the country rejoiced as the Notre Dame football team clenched their eleventh straight victory of their undefeated season and jumped to the number-one ranking nationally.

It was also a crazy scene in local bars and pubs across Michiana last night. Irish fans who packed Brothers on Eddy Street in South Bend went nuts after seeing Kansas and Oregon fall.

The bar erupted in cheers after the games. Some fans jumped on the bar to celebrate, others could be seen hugging each other in disbelief as the news sunk in that the Irish are now number-one in the country.
